From the North: Accessible from Purisima Creek Road.'No Parking' areas are strictly enforced. Parking is extremely limited at this location.Purisima Creek Road Parking Area (7 spaces + 1 ADA) - Purisima Creek Trailhead Roadside parking area will be on your left. From the South: From Highway 84 and Highway 35 intersection, travel on Highway 35 north approximately 6 miles.Roadside parking area will be on your right. From the North: From the Highway 92 and Highway 35 intersection, travel on Highway 35 south approximately 6.5 miles.Redwood Roadside Parking (11 spaces + 2 ADA) - Redwood Trailhead From the South: From Highway 84 and Highway 35 intersection, travel on Highway 35 north approximately 8 miles.From the North: From the Highway 92 and Highway 35 intersection, travel on Highway 35 south approximately 4.4 miles.North Ridge Parking Area (41 spaces + 2 ADA) - North Ridge Trailhead There is no parking at the Purisima Creek Road/Higgins Canyon Road trailhead at this time.īe advised there may be additional trail damage and downed trees in the preserve.Purisima Creek Road should be avoided to allow clear access for emergency staff and residents. The Purisima Creek Trail is open to hiking only from Highway 35 to Craig Britton Trail.The Purisima Creek Trail is closed to all between Grabtown Gulch Trail and Craig Britton Trail.The Whittemore Gulch Trail is closed to all (except between the two connections to North Ridge Trail).Due to significant storm damage, the entire preserve is closed to horses.Please help us realize the full scope and future construction of this project by donating to our mountain bike trail fund. The trail project is now fully funded to the lutsen mountains ski resort which upon completion will make this epic trail section close to 16 miles long.ġ0.30.16 All except for 1000ft of Flume trail completed. Jackpot flow trail has been completed by the Rocksolid trail building Company. Send any inquiries about the trails to: ġ0/26/19: Construction is under way to complete the new Jacpot flow trail to Lutsen by the end of summer 2019ġ0/30/18: Approx. Thank you for your support of these top notch trails. However if you choose to fund the trails through the Sugarbush Trail Association, any donations earmarked for the mountain bike trails will go directly to the SCA trail fund. The most direct way to help fund the trail system is to send donations directly to the SCA. This includes maintenance, signage, trail rehab and new development.
